DLF IPL 4 T20 2011 Season 4 is starting From 8th of April 2011 and will continue till 28th May 2011. We are back with the Schedule and Timetable for IPL 4 2011, with Venue Fully Updated. The season will see the addition of two new teams: the Pune Warriors and Kochi Tuskers Kerala.

The 2011 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 4 or the 2011 IPL, will be the fourth season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. BCCI is headquartered in Mumbai and is supervised by BCCI Vice President Chirayu Amin, chairman commissioner for IPL, and CEO, Sundar Raman. It presently includes 10 teams (franchises) consisting of players from different countries. The tournament will be hosted by India and the opening ceremony will be held in Chepauk Stadium, Chennai, the home venue for 2010 Champions Chennai Super Kings. The season will run from April 8 to May 28 2011.

IPL 4 :
The addition of teams representing Pune and Kochi was to have increased the number of franchises from 8 to 10. The BCCI originally considered extending the tournament format used in previous season to ten teams, which would increase the number of matches from 60 to 94. Instead, the round-robin stage of the tournament was to have been replaced by a group stage with two groups of five, limiting the number of matches to 74.

Ten Teams will play in Fourth edition of IPL – Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders, Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils ,Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab and new entrants Sahara Pune Warriors and Kochi Tushkers kerela .
